Attention all flight attendants who may be in the path of Hurricane Idalia, approaching the west coast of Florida. While we are focused on our important day tomorrow, we are just as focused on our member’s everyday issues. Christian and I are closely monitoring our emails and have put the base council on the lookout for any communication from members experiencing difficulties getting to work.

Section 37.I of JCBA refers to rules concerning Flight Attendants who live in a city other than their crew base.

Commuter Policy: Make sure your commuter city is listed and that you only have one city, which may include all co-terminals. The entry in FOS is HI17/CITY/9999 to delete HI17/CITY/D.

Documentation is everything. Email your manager and let them know that you need support. Copy us in your communication using [email protected]. Please put your safety FIRST. We will monitor our emails and text messages. If you cannot reach a scheduler, please call Daily Ops at 682-315-7070. If possible, please do not wait if you know you are possibly going to have issues getting to work. We are here to support you and hope you and your loved ones remain safe.
