#SolidaritySeason:
Supporting Our Airport Workers
Monday, September 18, 2023
America’s 300,000 airport service workers – cabin cleaners, ramp agents, baggage handlers, passenger attendants, security guards and janitors – have worked throughout the travel surge and extreme heat, many for poverty wages without affordable healthcare, paid time off, or even basic heat protections, like access to water.

With just one more vote needed to pass an amendment that would include fair wages and benefits in the FAA Reauthorization bill, airport service workers are leaving it all on the floor to ensure Congress heeds their calls for the pay, benefits and respect they deserve.

Tomorrow, airport service workers from across the country will hold rallies, protests, speak outs and more in actions at or near American Airlines hubs in Charlotte, Dallas and Phoenix, where they’ll demand Congress write airport service workers into the FAA bill.
