10.12.23 – APFA Issues Vote of No Confidence for Brady Byrnes, SVP Inflight
APFA Issues Vote of No Confidence
for Brady Byrnes, SVP Inflight
Thursday, October 12, 2023
Yesterday, we took a united stand for our rights and dignity as American Airlines Flight Attendants by delivering a letter of no confidence for Brady Byrnes, Senior Vice President, Inflight and Premium Guest Services. We marched on the boss, Robert Isom, to make our voices heard loud and clear.
APFA Leadership delivers Letter of No Confidence
While we were unable to deliver the letter to Isom directly, our message could not be stifled. We located Brady Byrnes, Senior Vice President, Inflight and Premium Guest Services, and personally delivered our letter of no confidence to him.
Presenting the Letter of No ConfidenceÂ
The lack of action on Flight Attendant safety and security and the appalling lack of Flight Attendant support on the line is utterly unacceptable. Brady Byrnes seems laser-focused on increasing discipline over every facet of our job. We will continue to address these ongoing issues and fight for the respect and support we deserve.
We have asked CEO Isom to take “immediate, substantive steps to rectify these issues in American’s fractured Inflight Department.” American’s Flight Attendants deserve top leadership who lead by example and address the concerns facing the largest workgroup at the airline. Enough evading and ignoring- it is time to meet us out on the line and start engaging with and listening to your Flight Attendants.
