11.03.23 – Enhanced Dues & Membership Account Transparency
Enhanced Dues & Membership
Account Transparency
Friday, November 3, 2023
We’ve recently made some enhancements to the dues payment process, offering you more transparency when checking your dues status.
Payment History and Monthly Statements Now Available
Information on payment history and monthly statements is now available online. To view this information, Login to your account and select ‘Account Home.’
Once you’ve landed on the account home page, select ‘My Membership’:
Scroll down to the ‘Payment History’ section to see payments you’ve made online, and click ‘View Receipt’ to view your receipt(s):
You may also scroll to the ‘Monthly Statement History’ section to view your past statements:
For those who processed payments through the previous version of our website before 2023, via telephone up until the current date, or through mailed checks/money orders, as well as those who used payroll deductions, please note that these transactions are not currently displayed in your payment history. Efforts are underway to integrate these payment records in the upcoming months.
Forms
Important forms for maintaining your account have now moved to the ‘My Account’ section of the website. This move helps to reduce the amount of info you must provide to us when completing a form. You will no longer have to provide the information already on file, such as your name, employee number, base, etc.
Once you’re on the ‘My Account’ page, click on ‘Forms’:
Claim of Clerical or Administrative Errors
If you believe there is an error on your account and you would like for the dues department to research your account, please submit a Claim of Clerical or Administrative Error form.
On the ‘Forms’ page, select ‘Add New’. Once you complete the application, you will receive an email confirmation.
To track the status of your claim, navigate to the ‘My Membership’ page and scroll to the Claim of Clerical Error section.
If you have any follow-up questions, please continue to email [email protected].
Dues Forgiveness Requests
Applications for dues forgiveness will now be in the ‘My Account’ section of the APFA website.
On the ‘Forms’ page, select ‘Add New’ to start a new application. Since the Dues Forgiveness Application is extensive, you may save your application and come back to it at any time prior to submission.
To track the status of your request, navigate to the ‘My Membership’ page and scroll to the Dues Forgiveness section.
Payment Arrangement Requests
You may now submit a request for payment arrangement directly through ‘My Account’, set up your preferred payment dates and methods, and sign your agreement.
To track the status of your request, navigate to the ‘My Membership’ page and scroll to the Payment Arrangements section.
This March 2023 hotline contains additional information on becoming dues current.
