11.06.23 – Flight Attendant Drug and Alcohol Program (FADAP): Substance Use Disorders
Monday, November 6, 2023
As the holiday season fast approaches, celebrations, and gatherings of loved ones also take place. With some holiday gatherings, there will be alcohol served, and like anything, we must be aware of ‘risky” alcohol use.
According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAA), risky drinking is gender-based.
- Men– consuming 5 or more drinks on any day or 15 or more per week.
- Women– consuming 4 or more drinks on a day or 8 or more drinks per week.
If you would like to speak to a FADAP peer, please call 1-855-33FADAP or 1-855-333-2327 for a confidential conversation.
