11.23.23 – APFA LGA Base Brief – With Gratitude, on Thanksgiving Day
With Gratitude, on Thanksgiving Day
Thursday, November 23, 2023
Nathanael and I would like to share our Gratitude for the trust and support we have and continue to receive from all New York APFA members. Our path ahead demands our focus, and our accomplishments thus far prove we are more than READY to face the future and join the labor momentum. Starbucks workers, Auto workers, and many everyday hard-working people like you and me have taken a stand to say that we have had enough and are READY to take our fair share.
I could not be prouder to represent a diverse group of resilient safety professionals who, despite the maladministration and brazen defiance to share the wealth, do not waver in your SOLIDARITY, and give me the strength to keep going every day.
New York APFA would like to thank, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, New York State Senator Jessica Ramos, New York Assembly Member Jessica Gonzalez-Rojas, and Assemblymember Zohran Kwame Mamdani. Our Union Brothers and Sisters of Sagaftra, SEIU, AFA, TWU, APA, all others. To Amazon Labor Union President Chris Smalls, thank you for reinforcing the course for all of us and making the labor movement more inclusive. Thank you for standing with APFA in our communities and supporting our fight for a fair Contract.
In Unity & Solidarity,
Christian M. Santana
