1.04.24 – Ballots Out for Delivery for 2024 National Officer Elections
Ballots Out for Delivery for 2024 National Officer Elections
Thursday, January 4, 2024
Ballots for the 2024 National Officer Elections were mailed to the membership on December 27, 2023, from our vendor in the New York area to the addresses on file with APFA. Members have just begun to receive them over the last few days, as they were mailed out just prior to the long holiday weekend. Please allow a few extra days for them to arrive, as mail delivery around a holiday can be slower than usual. If you do not receive your ballot package, instructions on requesting a duplicate/replacement ballot package are below.
Ballots must be received in the designated Post Office Box no later than 10:00 am (CT) on January 26, 2024.
Duplicate Ballots
If you do not receive a ballot package (or need a replacement), you may request a duplicate by contacting our election partner, YesElections support desk at: (866) 384-9978 or [email protected].
The last day to request a duplicate ballot package is 12:00 pm (CT) on January 19, 2024. The NBC does not advise members to wait until this date, as you may not have enough time to receive your ballot and mail it back. We ask that you read the information carefully before mailing back your ballot. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE YOUR VOTE.
Candidate Booklets
Candidate information is now available on the “Union Elections” page on the APFA website. As of 2020, paper candidate booklets are no longer provided in the mail with your ballot, instead a QR code and link are included in your ballot package on the Notice/Voting Instructions page. You’re welcome to print them from the link below or request a printed copy mailed to you by contacting us at: [email protected].

Voter Eligibility
To be eligible to vote, you must be an active member in good standing. A member is considered in good standing so long as they have met their dues obligation, with no dues in arrears for more than sixty (60) days. For your vote to count, you must be an active member in good standing by 5:00 pm (CT) on Monday, January 22, 2024. (APFA Constitution Article II, Section 4.A-C – Article VI, Section 4.B & 4.D)
In your ballot package, on the Notice/Voting Instructions page, at the top we included information about your voter eligibility and any balance owed as of December 12, 2023. We strongly suggest you check your eligibility and dues balance on apfa.org before 5:00 pm (CT) on Monday, January 22, 2024, as eligibility is subject to change.
You can check your membership status and manage payments through the “My Account” section of the APFA Website. For dues-related assistance, contact the APFA Dues Department via e-mail [email protected] or call/text (817) 540-0108, option 3.
Returning Your Ballot
Instructions on where to mail your completed ballot are included in the ballot instructions/return envelope.
- Do not mail your completed ballot to APFA HQ.
- Do not bring it to the ballot count.
- Only ballots that are received in the designated Post Office Box listed on the return envelope with the ballot will be counted.
