**Base Breakdown Election Results to Follow**
National Officer Run-Off Elections:
In any balloting for National Officer positions, per Article VI, Section 5.H of the APFA Constitution, the candidate receiving the majority (50% plus 1 vote) of the valid votes counted for an office shall be deemed elected to that office. If no candidate receives a majority vote, there will be a run-off election between the two candidates receiving the most votes.
There will be a Run-Off Election for National President, National Vice President, National Secretary and National Treasurer positions.
Ballots for the National Officer Run-Off Election will be mailed on February 5, 2024. Ballots must be received at the designated P.O. Box by March 6, 2024, at 10:00 am (CT).
National Officer Run-Off Debate
The National Officer Run-off Debate will be held next week, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at APFA Headquarters between candidates for National President, National Vice President, National Secretary and National Treasurer. To bring more transparency and provide the membership with as much information as possible, the APFA Policy Manual was updated to include a debate between the candidates for all APFA National Officer positions in the event of a run-off election. A hotline with the recorded debates will be sent to the membership once the video has been uploaded.
