March 2024 PHX Staffing and Allocations

Today, APFA Base Representatives had the monthly staffing and allocations call with the Company. We continue to request new hires in the PHX base. We have pointed out to the Company that the vacancy transfer list into PHX is mostly Flight Attendants with a seniority of 20,000 and junior. Clearing the list or giving us more of these transfers will reduce the need for more senior Flight Attendants to be subject to Reserve. When bidding for March, remember that Easter Sunday is early this year and falls on March 31.

2024 National Officer Run-Off Elections

Ballots for the 2024 National Officer Run-Off Elections will be mailed to the membership on Monday, February 5, 2024, to the addresses on file with APFA.

Ballots must be received in the designated Post Office Box no later than Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 10:00 am (CT). The ballot count will commence directly after at: APFA Headquarters, members in good standing are welcome to attend. Once the National Ballot Committee certifies the election results, a hotline will be sent to the membership.

2024-25 Vacation Bidding 

The Primary Round of Vacation Bidding will close on Wednesday, February 28 at 1200 pm (CT). Primary Round awards will be posted no later than Tuesday, March 5 at 1200 pm (CT).
