On Saturday, February 3rd, we had our monthly allocations call. Here is what to expect for March bidding.
SPRING BREAK AND COMMUTING
Spring Break will bring full flights making it harder to commute. Please familiarize yourself with our commuter policy which is found in the JCBA Section 37.I.
STAFFING
For March, we have 2,353 active Flight Attendants. There are no new hire Flight Attendants coming to PHL in March.
As a reminder, if your LRD status says Reserve and you toggle to Line-holder, please make sure you bid both Line-holder and Reserve layers in PBS (7 layers as a Reserve and 7 Layers as a Line-holder.)
ALLOCATIONS
We have 142,724 hours of flying. This is a decrease from February’s 145,021. Last year in March 2023, we had 137,129 hours of flying.
ODAN’s
We lost some ODAN flying for March. BOS, IND, and DTW are available to bid. We know the ODAN flying hours fluctuate throughout the year, and we expect that to continue.
PIT SATELLITE
PIT will also see a slight decrease in hours. March has 4,693 hours compared to February’s 4,720 flying hours.
