Hello PHL,

THIS IS WHAT SOLIDARITY LOOKS LIKE!

Our Worldwide Day Of Action on February 13th saw thousands of Flight Attendants representing American, United, Alaska, Frontier, and Southwest Airlines to name just a few, as we all fight for contracts that address critical issues related to wages and working conditions. We stood side by side right here in PHL with United, Frontier, Spirit, and PSA Flight Attendants as well as labor and community leaders. We were extremely happy to also welcome our current National Vice President, Larry Salas, who also joined us in PHL for this historic event.

We would like to thank Council Members At-Large Rue Landau and Nicolas O’Rourke who braved the cold weather to walk with us as well as deliver an inspiring speech that was well received by all in attendance.

Solidarity events take a lot of time and considerable planning from inception to the day of the event. Our successful picket came together from the tireless efforts of our Contract Action (CAT) Team.

It is vitally important for all of us to remain focused on supporting our Negotiations Team as they continue to battle management at the bargaining table. 2024 National Officer Runoff Elections

If you have not yet received your ballot in the mail for the National Officer run-off election, please request a duplicate ballot ASAP. It is vitally important that everyone returns a ballot. That cannot happen unless we mail them in a timely manner. Please don’t delay! 

You may request a duplicate by calling the YesElections support desk at (866) 384-9978 or emailing [email protected]. The last day to request a duplicate ballot package is February 28, 2024, at 12:00 pm (CT). The National Ballot Committee does not advise you wait that until then, as you may not have time to receive it and mail it back.

Ballots must be received in the designated Post Office Box no later than 10:00 am (CT) on March 6, 2024.

The ballots will be collected from the designated Post Office Box on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 10:00 am (CT). The ballot count will commence directly after at APFA Headquarters. Once the results are certified, a hotline will be released from the National Ballot Committee.
