Final Notes for DCA:
On February 13, 2024, we had a successful Worldwide Flight Attendant Day of Action. APFA, AFA, TWU, and other unions were present to walk the picket line in solidarity and support of reaching a contract we desire and deserve. DCA had about 120 participants and seven local government representatives. IAD was equally successful in its same-day picket event. It is excellent to see unions and representatives collaborating to advocate for the flight attendant profession. Collaboration like this can impact and move the needle toward our success.
Thanks to our DCA Contract ACTION Team and the APFA National Government Affairs Committee for coordinating this picketing event and working with our friends on Capitol Hill who support our cause.

This month, the APFA Negotiating Committee plans to meet with the company and the National Mediation Board (NMB). Throughout this process, we urge you to remain unified and maintain solidarity in pursuing a new contract that we deserve. Please continue showing unity by wearing your red lanyards, bag tags, and union pins.
