Special Message to ALL LGA APFA Members

Yesterday, I was privy to communication between an LGA member and a Crew Attendance Manager that involved the attendance blitz announced earlier last week for Wednesday, March 20th, in the JFK Ops area. Due to the doubt this exchange has cast on an already poorly planned attendance blitz, I strongly advise all LGA Flight Attendants to refrain from participating in this local attendance blitz on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. All APFA members, including probationary Flight Attendants, have the right to union representation during all discussions with management.

Flight Attendants continue to work under an amendable contract and understaffed flights, among many other challenges. As your local base president, I am responsible for looking out for the best interests of all APFA members, especially those based at LGA, and protecting them from harm. The attendance program has only served as a punitive policy devoid of empathy or respect for workers.
