Happy Spring or Happy Second Winter if you live in northern parts of New England!
We’d like to Welcome Classes 24-01, 24-02, 24-03 and 24-04 to our Boston Family! This is truly the best base in the system to start your career as a Flight Attendant.
APFA Notification System for Critical Incidents
Have you had a chance to look at the NEW APFA Notification System for Critical Incidents? (More information on the new notification system may be found here.) This system will allow members to directly notify APFA Safety and Security representatives of any critical incident on the aircraft, at the airport, or while on layover. Notifying APFA Safety and Security through the APFA Notification System will initiate internal procedures within the union. APFA Safety and Security, Base Presidents, Base Vice Presidents, National Officers, and EAP representatives all work collaboratively to provide support. This system does not replace company procedures- it is another resource to ensure you receive help.
Please save 817-357-8786 to your contacts and utilize the APFA Notification System to provide you with important information when experiencing an incident. Notifying your union by calling or texting 817-357-8786 holds the company accountable, and APFA remains informed of your well-being and safety.
Meetings with AA Management
BOS APFA is seeing an uptick in conversations and meetings with Crew Managers (CM). If your CM has emailed/left a voicemail wanting to have a conversation or set up a meeting with you, you are contractually entitled to have Union Representation present. Let Devyn, Nicole or Kelli know the date, time, and nature of the meeting as soon as possible.
Devyn will be on vacation from March 30th through April 7th. Please contact Kelli at (603) 661-5297, Nicole at (727) 600-0141, APFA HDQ at (817) 540-0108, or utilize the Live Chat feature on APFA.org during this time.
Continue to wear your red WAR pin, red lanyard and bag tags until we achieve the tentative agreement we’ve earned.
