4.25.24 – APFA BOS Base Brief – Thank You, BOS!
Thursday, April 25, 2024
To my Boston Family,
By now, you have probably seen the Base Brief from Kelli Powers announcing my transition into the Regional Representative position for APFA. I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest thanks to every one of you.
Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of working under Kelli as Base Council Rep and Base Vice President. During this time, our base has grown to nearly 730 flight attendants. Yet, one thing has remained the same in Boston: the community environment that makes us unique from every other base in the system.
As I move into this new position, please know that I carry with me the skills I have learned from doing base work. I owe a debt of gratitude to Kelli for her mentorship, as well as to Nicole Tennenbaum, Anna Myers, Heidi Visocchi, and Tyler Anderson for their unwavering support in their respective roles.
While I may be moving into a different role, my commitment to APFA remains the same: to advocate for the rights and interests of Flight Attendants and the working class.
I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for me, and I have full confidence in both Kelli and Nicole to continue to advocate for Boston Flight Attendants.
In Solidarity,
