4.25.24 – APFA BOS Base Brief – Thursday, April 25, 2024
Good evening, BOS!
Earlier today at the APFA Executive Committee meeting, new appointments were made in National Chairs, along with Regional Representatives positions. I am happy to share that Devyn Gourley BOS APFA Vice President has been appointed to the Regional Representative position. Following his appointment today, Devyn has officially resigned from his BOS Vice President position. While he will be missed greatly in the day-to-day ongoings of APFA BOS Union work, he will still be based in BOS and serve the membership in a greater capacity under the System Board of Adjustment Department (SBA) led by National Vice President Larry Salas.
With the resignation of Devyn Gourley as the BOS APFA Vice President, I have appointed Nicole Tennenbaum, BOS Base Council Representative (BCR) as the Interim BOS APFA Vice President. She will remain in the Interim role until the National Ballot Committee (NBC) concludes the BOS Base Vice President election. The Willingness-to-Serve will open on Monday, April 29, 2024. An NBC Hotline with more specific dates and times will be out in the coming days.
Many thanks to Nicole for accepting this Interim Vice President position, you are a wonderful asset to our APFA BOS Team.
A heartfelt Thank You Devyn for all your hard work over the past three years to support our Flight Attendants in Boston. The SBA Department is very lucky to have you on their Team. I know you will continue to do great things for APFA.
In Solidarity,
Kelli Powers Pronouns: she/her/hers
APFA BOS Base President
