2024 BOS Base Vice President Election

BOS Flight Attendants,

Today, the APFA National Ballot Committee (NBC) retrieved the Willingness-To-Serves (WTS) for the position of BOS Base Vice President. The NBC would like to thank the members who submitted a WTS to fill the remainder of this term.

The following candidates will be on the ballot for BOS Base Vice President:

  • Nicole Tennenbaum
  • Kristine Wolanske

Balloting Information

The National Ballot Committee is pleased to be able to offer this special election via an online Electronic Voting method with our vendor YesElections. Your electronic voting credentials will be mailed on June 12, 2024, to the address you have on file with APFA. The ballot count will take place at APFA Headquarters on July 12, 2024, at 10:00am (CT). Electronic votes must be received no later than July 12, 2024, at 10:00 am (CT).

You may request a paper ballot; however, paper ballots must be received to the designated P.O. Box no later than July 12, 2024, at 10:00 am (CT).

Base Vice President Term

The newly elected BOS Base Vice President will assume office on July 12, 2024, upon certification of the election results, and the term will end on March 31, 2025.

Candidate Booklets

Candidate booklets will be available to all members on the Union Electionspage of APFA.org on June 12, 2024, the day the ballot credentials are mailed. On the voter information page included with balloting credentials, a QR code will also be printed that you can scan, which will take you directly to the candidate booklets. Candidate information will be available to you throughout the balloting period. You can print the candidate information from the website or request a paper copy be mailed to you.

Voter Eligibility

To be eligible to vote online, you must be an active member in good standing at the time you go to cast your vote. A member is considered in good standing so long as they have met their dues obligation, with no dues in arrears for more than sixty (60) days. For your vote to count, you must be an active member in good standing by July 8, 2024, at 5:00 pm (CT) or an approved APFA Payment Plan by June 12, 2024, at 5:00 pm (CT). (APFA Constitution Article II, Section 4.A-C – Article VI, Section 4.B & 4.D)

Included with your balloting credentials, on the Notice/Voting Instructions page, at the top we will include information about your voter eligibility status and any balance owed. We strongly suggest you check your eligibility and dues balance on APFA.org before 5:00 pm (CT) on July 8, 2024, as eligibility is subject to change.
