Happy July, Everyone!

The August staffing and allocations call was held today. However, we will begin with a few words on negotiations.

These last few weeks, we have been on edge, with negotiations ping-ponging us back and forth about what is happening. While the Negotiating committee is limited in the message they can deliver about the specifics of negotiations, one thing is clear: They are standing firm and fighting for the contract we deserve.

If you feel discouraged or as if this process is too long, remember that, as of this morning, we are on Negotiations Update #65 and began this process over five years ago. We are nearing the end, which is the most challenging part of any race. WE are a strong team. We will persevere and win this race! We will win the contract we deserve! WE are in this together. Stay informed, stay united, and, most importantly, stay strong!

The contractual month is August 1st- August 30th.

We are currently in the critical period – July 1st through July 7th. To receive your banked point, you must fly a trip(s) during those days (serving RAPs also count), but you cannot have any absences during this period. Allocations 

31% of the hours for August are made up of wide body flying.

787 domestic trips:

• DFW turn August 6th – August 30th
• DFW 2-day August 1st – 4th

ODAN departures are around 18 per day. We will continue to watch how those are impacting open time.

Staffing
The summer schedule is still going strong for August, which will be reflected in both RSV numbers and line averages.

The Reserve percentage for Chicago is 22.4%. The system average is 23.5%.

The line average for Chicago at PBS open is expected to be 80.7. The system average is 80.9.

Turn percentages are up slightly, to 26% of departures.
