7.15.24 – New T-Mobile/AT&T Phone Issues Form on APFA.org
New T-Mobile/AT&T Phone Issues Form on APFA.org
Monday, July 15, 2024
Recently, APFA has received several calls from Flight Attendants who have received missed trips from Crew Scheduling. The calls are not going through, and the Flight Attendant is completely unaware that they have missed a call(s) from Crew Scheduling. There are times that a voicemail is left by Crew Scheduling, but the Flight Attendant never receives the voice mail.
We are investigating what has caused these issues and are pressing the Company to share what they have discovered.
The problems may be partly due to a software update that was deployed by some cell phone providers that increased the ability to block spam calls. Check the spam blocker settings on your phone and check with your service provider to ensure that you can receive calls from the Crew Scheduling phone numbers.
If the Company stated they called, but you have no record of the call and are subsequently issued a Missed Trip (TM), please get in touch with your APFA Base Reps to assist you with your Crew Attendance Manager (CAM) and complete the PHONE ISSUES FORM on the APFA website. The CAM will want a copy of your call log from your provider showing that there were no calls received from the crew scheduling phone numbers during the time frame the scheduler shows they called.
If you cannot have the TM removed via your local APFA Base Leadership and CAM, please ensure you have completed the new T-Mobile/AT&T Phone Issues Form on APFA.org. APFA National Contract & Scheduling Departments will escalate any issues that cannot be resolved at the base level.
