With great sadness, we inform you of the passing of retired PHL Flight Attendant Vicki Balistreri after battling a prolonged illness.

Vicki began her career with Pacific Southwest Airlines in San Diego, CA, in 1973. She was not only the life of the party on European layovers but also played an integral role at AFA-CWA and APFA. Vicki answered the call at merger time and joined the Joint Negotiating Committee for the American/ US Airways merger.

Vicki was passionate about protecting hard-won scheduling and pay protection language and went on to join the Joint Scheduling Implementation Committee (JSIC). Together, the JSIC spent countless hours ensuring that American implemented language into the JCBA with the proper intent.
