8.04.24 – 2024 Tentative Agreement Voter Eligibility
2024 Tentative Agreement
Voter Eligibility
Sunday, August 4, 2024
All members in good standing (including those on probation) are eligible to vote on the 2024 Tentative Agreement. If you have a balance in arrears, you are considered in bad standing and ineligible to vote. To restore your eligibility to good standing, you must make a payment in full or have an active payment arrangement on file to be able to vote online.
Payments maybe made online at APFA.org via credit card, debit card, or electronic check as well as via Venmo (@apfaunity). You may also mail your payment to 1004 W. Euless Blvd, Euless, TX 76040.
If you are not a member (Agency Fee Payer or Ellis Objector), you will need to submit a membership application at apfa.org/join to rejoin APFA and pay your initiation fee in full prior to being eligible to vote or to be eligible for a Payment Arrangement.
Last year, your APFA Board of Directors passed policy implementing a payment arrangement program for members with balances over $82 (two months of dues).
Short-Term Payment Arrangements
Members with balances of at least $82 but less than $492 are eligible to make payment arrangements to pay their balance over 6 months.
Long-Term Payment Arrangements
Members with balances of $492 (1 years’ worth of dues) and greater are eligible to make payment arrangements to pay their balance over 12 months.
How to Set Up an Official Payment Arrangement
To request a payment arrangement, please email [email protected] or call (817) 540-0108Â option 3, immediately.
Payment arrangements are available to members of APFA only who have paid their initiation fee or re-join fee in full and have signed a membership card. Agency Fee Payers and Ellis Objectors are not eligible for payment arrangements.
In order to be eligible to vote, an official payment arrangement must be executed (Conditional Payment Arrangement signed and first payment received) by Tuesday, August 13th, at 12pm (CT).
Reviewing Your Balance
Go to APFA.org to review your balance. To log in, select ‘Log In’ from the right corner. Once logged in you will be taken back to the last page you were on. Your arrears balance will appear in the top right corner:
Our login system at APFA requires a unique personal email address. If we do not have one on file for you, you share an email address with another member, or if you don’t remember the email address you have on file, please go to apfa.org/email and update with your personal email. You will need an updated account to login to apfa.org to view account info as well as to vote on the Tentative Agreement.
If you encounter any other issues with logging in or if you are unable to reset your password, Tentative Agreement Call Center Representatives are available to assist you at (424) 482-4636.
