Reminder: August 2024 Training Bidding Deadlines

With additional training being conducted this fall, we are providing this reminder for the following bidding deadlines.

Continuing Qualification Training (CQ):

• Bidding opens at 1200 CT on the 1st of every month
• Bidding closes at 1200 CT on the 6th of every month
• Awarded @ 1200 CT on the 7th of every month

Special Training – Planned Ditching Checklist Workshop:

• Additional required training for those who attended CQ prior to the implementation of the new FAA-required Planned Ditching Checklist Workshop

• For September Classes:
  • Bidding opens August 1st @ 1200 CT
  • Bidding closes August 6th @ 1200 CT
  • Awards posted August 9th @ 1200CT
• For October Classes:
  • Bidding opens September 1st @ 1200 CT
  • Bidding closes September 6th @ 1200 CT
  • Awards posted September 9th @ 1200 CT
• Voluntary enrollment for classes in the current month (August 21 – 28) is available via the Training Enrollment Request Form in Comply365.

Required Base Equipment and Service Training (RBEST):

• Opens at 1200 CT on the 1st of every month
• Closes at 1200 CT on the 6th of every month
• Awards posted on the 9th of every month by close of business (COB)

Purser Summit of Excellence:

• Bidding currently open
• Bidding closes August 6th @ 1200 CT
• Awards sent via AA.com email on August 7th

Additional Important Deadlines

Lineholder/Reserve Designator (LRD):

• Opens at 1200 CT on the 3rd of every month
• Closes at 1200 CT on the 7th of every month
• Results viewable on your PBS dashboard at 1200 CT on the 10th of every month

September 2024 Voluntary Leave of Absence (VLOA):

• Opened August 3rd @ 1200 CT
• Closes August 7th @ 1200 CT
• Awards will be posted on the Inflight website and Flight Attendants awarded will receive a CCI message
