9.20.24 – Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month
Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month
Friday, September 20, 2024
APFA would like to take a moment to recognize Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month. This month celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of those with descendants from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The 30-day period from September 15th through October 15th is significant, as countries such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile all celebrate their Independence Day during this time. Together, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and love of life that is woven throughout this diverse heritage. “Al mal tiempo, buena cara!”
