APFA Accepting Resumés for Print/ Publishing Designer
APFA is now accepting resumés from Flight Attendants with experience in designing print publications for future APFA communications. Applicants should have experience with Adobe InDesign or comparable programs.
Scope of work:
This individual will be provided with content to design printed materials and will be responsible for:
- Designing the layout and placement of content.
- Coordinating with various teams for revisions.
- Preparing the file for printing.
- Coordinating with the print house for print proofs and approvals.
Previous examples of APFA printed materials include the APFA Strike Authorization Vote Booklet, the APFA Strike Handbook, and the APFA 2024 Tentative Agreement Booklet.
Minimum requirements include:
- APFA member in good standing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign or comparable programs.
- Ability to upload a current design portfolio of your work.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Minimum one (1) year Flight Attendant experience.
- Good dependability/attendance record (no higher than 1st level warning).
