Fall Break 2024 Parking Update

PHX Parking Management is expecting a surge in public parking demand exceeding capacity during Fall Break 2024 (Friday, September 27th – Thursday, October 10th).

PHX Sky Harbor Parking Management is:

• Asking us to park in our assigned employee parking lots during this time period.
• Encouraging us to arrive early and allow additional time to navigate through the airport and parking facilities.
  • Public parking facilities will be at capacity, and finding available parking will be challenging.
• If you pay monthly for the Terminal 4 Garage, please be prepared to display your AA ID to Parking Attendants to gain access when the facility is at capacity and closed. Space is reserved for you, and although the lot is full, a space is available if this is your assigned parking location.
  • We must park on the highest levels of public parking facilities.
• Employee daily discounted parking in public facilities cannot be guaranteed during peak demand. Please plan accordingly. Space in lots will not be reserved for this group of parkers. When a lot is full, you will be directed to a parking facility with spaces available.
  • We may be re-directed to alternate facilities for the discount.
  • Discounts are limited to a first-come-first-serve basis.
• 44th Street Employee Parking Facility.
  • Valet will operate at the Sky Train station and stage vehicles in the far west corner of the employee facility.
  • This lot will be utilized if necessary for overflowing public parking demand in the far west corner inside the parking lot. 
  • A dedicated entry lane will be maintained, and access will be provided for all employees entering the 44th Street parking lot.
  • Although there will be separate lanes for public and employee parkers, congestion may be experienced, and additional time may be needed to access the lot.

APFA is excited to take part in this year’s Phoenix Pride Parade! Get ready for the vibrant and inclusive Phoenix Pride Parade, which unites our diverse LGBTQ+ and allied communities for a weekend filled with joy, unity, and hope for the future. The Phoenix Pride Parade supports Phoenix Pride and the Pride Community Grants and Scholarships Programs. Imagine over 2,000 enthusiastic participants showcasing their creativity with stunning floats, lively music, and an endless sea of smiles. Join over 15,000 spectators as we celebrate with Grand Marshals, local stars, and an unforgettable parade along the 3rd Street route from Thomas to Indian School. The festivities culminate at Steele Indian School Park, where the Phoenix Pride Festival awaits. It’s a weekend you won’t want to miss!
