Hurricane MILTON is projected to impact the central region of Florida, affecting cities such as Tampa and Orlando. Over 200 commuters from New York have been identified, and numerous flight attendants who don’t live in Florida have likely loved ones in the storm’s projected path.

The LGA Base Council will host a one-hour virtual forum via Teams to address concerns, provide essential information, and answer member inquiries. The forum is scheduled to accommodate preparation and arrangement timelines and invites participation via virtual or telephone call-in. Our local EAP team has been extended an invitation, subject to availability.

The link to the session recording will be available on the APFA website’s LGA base page and the NYC Facebook and Instagram page for those unable to attend. Members prioritizing storm preparations are encouraged to contact the LGA Base Council directly via email, text, or phone for assistance.
