Last week, Kelli and Nicole attended the APFA Fall Board of Directors (BOD) meeting in Fort Worth, TX. We had productive discussions on several key issues that impact all APFA members. Per the APFA Policy Manual Section 4.A.7.B.(3), the official meeting minutes will be posted to APFA.org by thirty (30) business days after the conclusion of the meeting. Nicole on Vacation

Daylight Saving Time
On Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends, and the clocks will be set back to Standard Time at 2:00 AM, shifting back to 1:00 AM.

Reminder: No Hot Liquids Down the Drain at the Gate
Please remind everyone to avoid pouring hot liquids down the drains while the aircraft is at the gate. This can injure the ground crew, so please dispose of all hot liquids in the toilets at the gate. A great way to remind yourself of this is to place a catering paper or napkin over the drain while on the ground as a visual cue.

Bookmark the Link to the New CBA
If you have an iPhone, use these steps to save the link to your home screen.

1. Open Safari
   Tap the Safari app icon on your iPhone.
2. Visit the Link
   In the Safari search bar, type or paste this link: https://www.apfa.org/contract/#2024cba, then hit “Go.”
3. Access the Share Menu
   Once the page loads, tap the Share icon at the bottom of your screen. It looks like a square with an upward arrow.
4. Add to Home Screen
   Scroll down the options and tap Add to Home Screen.
5. Name Your Bookmark
   You’ll be prompted to name the bookmark. You can leave it as the default or change it to “2024 CBA.”
6. Save the Bookmark
   Tap Add in the top-right corner. The bookmark will now appear as an icon on your home screen. You can now access the 2024 CBA with one tap from your home screen.
