11.12.24 – APFA ORD Base Brief – Virtual Base Town Hall/Final Warning Meetings

ORD Virtual Town Hall December 8 at 1200 PM (CT)

Over the past year, ORD APFA has held several in-person training sessions. We’ve decided to pivot to a virtual format for this town hall to maximize accessibility. This will allow as many members as possible to attend in person or virtually. We plan to record the meeting and post it on the ORD page of APFA.org for those who may wish to view it later.

The town hall will include updates from the Contract Implementation Committee (CIC), a presentation from the APFA Retirement department geared towards financial tips and suggestions for the future, base hot topics, and provide an opportunity for sharing information and addressing questions along the way.

We will send more details closer to the town hall, including a link to the meeting and how to submit questions.

Final Warning Meetings – Attendance

The Attendance and Performance Policy is a company policy which mandates a meeting be held once someone reaches a Final Warning for attendance. Let us be very clear, this meeting is required, and we strongly suggest you have APFA representation with you for this meeting. Not only to help give you resources, but to make note of what the company is telling you and to help ensure your record is correct or catch mistakes.

The next level of discipline after Final Warning could lead to termination. Protect yourself and your job. Don’t hesitate to contact us.
