Understanding Your Dashboard

Status

Once PBS opens, you'll want to check your Status on the Dashboard.  This will be the final result from the LRD toggle.

The Status will include LINEHOLDER or RESERVE and may include a special status such as PURSER | SPEAKER | PAY-PURPOSE-ONLY

NOTE: If you have a status of PAY-PURPOSE-ONLY a schedule is created to calculate your pay, but you will not be flying the trips.   For this status, trips are not removed from the pairing pool and will still be awarded or assigned to others.

Targeted Line Average for your Base

Another important item to check on your PBS Dashboard is the Base Line Average:

Based on the target line average for your base and the total number of high time bidders compared to the number of low time bidders, PBS determines if it can honor all desired bids and leave no more than 3% open time, while ensuring the actual line average for your base is as close to this targeted line average as possible.

This process may cause a restriction on the minimum or maximum number of hours your line may be built to.

Bid Package Information

This includes bid opening and closing times (in (DFW time) as well as information specific to your base for the bid month.

User information

Specific to you at your base for the bid month.

Message Board

Contains information from the Crew Schedule Planners.

Bid open and close date/time

Countdown clock to the close of bidding

Number of expected Lineholders at your base for the bid month

Number of expected Reserves at your base for the bid month

Total number of expected bidders in your base (Lineholders + Reserves) for the bid month

Your crew base

Your aircraft qualifications

Your position as a Flight Attendant (FA)

Your seniority within your status (Linehold or Reserver) at your base for the bid month.

Your status (LINEHOLDER or RESERVE, possibly PAY-PURPOSE-ONLY) at your base for the bid month, as well as any special qualifications you hold (e.g., PURSER and/or SPEAKER)

Your language qualifications (if not language qualified, it will simply say ENGLISH)

Your Existing Credit (e.g., carry-over trip, vacation, SA, Jury Duty, etc.)

Your CQ base month

Timestamp of your last login to the PBS system.

Targeted Line Average for your base for the bid month.

Scheduled PBS Updates

There are two mid-bid data pulls during which any changes to your HI1 will be reflected on your PBS Dashboard.
