12.20.23 – Flexible Spending Accounts Transitioning to Fidelity

A Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) allows you to contribute part of your paycheck pre-tax to pay for eligible health care expenses throughout the year.

12.18.23 – Coverage Needed (CN) Dates – January 2024

Coverage Needed (CN) is a term applied to any day in a bid month when not enough Flight Attendants bid in PBS to fly on that day. PBS will award as many Flight Attendants as possible to be off on a particular day.

12.18.23 – Negotiations Update #45: Bargaining Update

Your APFA Negotiations team met in federally supervised mediation in Tampa, Florida, December 12th-14th. As we have previously reported, once we are in federal mediation, the timing and location of negotiations are controlled by the federal mediators.

During Annual Enrollment, American Airlines announced that it is transitioning the administrative services for its spending accounts from Alight Smart-Choice Accounts to Fidelity Investments, effective January 1, 2024.
