IMPORTANT:

We continue to receive questions regarding payments made while on furlough or unpaid leave. APFA continues to bill all members on any status.

If you make those payments, you will have the ability to exercise your rights and privileges (vote, attend meetings and events, hold an elected or appointed position, etc.) and are not eligible for refund. If you do not make those payments, you are no longer entitled to exercise your rights and privileges once you are more than (60) days in arrears with your dues.

Upon returning from work, the dues that were billed while on your specific unpaid leave, will be forgiven. The specific leave types are outlines in Article II Section 4.B (3) of the APFA Constitution. VLOAs, Personal Leaves (PLOA), Education Leaves, Pilot Supply Program/Cadet Academy Leaves, EVLOAs, STLOAs, PVLOAs, and 12-month VEOPs are not covered under this section.
