Flight Attendants along with pilots and air traffic controllers are classified by the Department of Labor as “essential to the operation of the aircraft.” Pilots and air traffic controllers have fatigue programs in place. It’s past time that Flight Attendants receive the nonreducible 10-hour minimum rest as instructed by Congress in the 2018 FAA Reauthorization Bill.
